What wood are these made from?
White oak and poplar offcuts from Grandoor Frames door frame installations around Houston, TX. Every piece comes with real provenance — premium hardwood that would otherwise be discarded. No plywood, no particle board, no filler.
Are these food-safe?
Yes. All boards are finished with food-grade mineral oil — the same standard used by professional butcher blocks. It's non-toxic, tasteless, and safe for direct food contact. We don't use varnish, lacquer, or synthetic coatings.
How do I care for my board?
Hand wash with mild soap, rinse quickly, and dry immediately — never soak or put in the dishwasher. Re-oil monthly with food-grade mineral oil to keep the wood nourished and prevent cracking. A well-cared-for board will last decades.
What's your return policy?
30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason, email us at grandooros@polsia.app within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. No complicated returns process — just a conversation.
